Unit costs

Search products and filter by location. Open a product to convert the current moving-average cost into configured packs.

Step by step

  1. 1

Choose Production costs, filter the batch list and open the product you made.

  2. 2

Record confirmed labour and other processing costs for the whole batch, excluding GST. Include the source or allocation basis. Enter zero explicitly if no cost applies.

  3. 3

Confirm processing costs. Costs saved before completion are included when production is posted. Later corrections revalue affected stock and sales through the existing cost history.

  4. 4

Use cost history to review each version. Search and export include all matching pages.

Watch out

  • Unrecorded processing costs and pending supplier invoices mean recorded values may be incomplete. Historical batches before cost reconciliation cannot be rewritten here. Do not enter ingredients again as processing costs. Store supply prices and physical stock quantities are unchanged.
